When individuals have been displaced, due to natural or man-man disasters (war etc.), and relocated into safe zones, a critical need is to provide adequate (Wa)ter, (S)anitation and (H)ygiene supplies to minimise the spread of diseases and illnesses. Provisions can take the form of many items such as clean drinking water, savlon, detol, disinfectant soap, hand sanitiser, water purification tablets/liquid, salt, Jojo tanks, bore hole installations and hand-washing powder to name but a few.
